(The Role of Songs and Stories in Improving Learners' Skills in Learning Foreign Language "English")

The purpose of the study is to identify the role of educational songs and stories in improving the skills of first intermediate grade learners in learning the English language (listening and speaking) from the point of view of English language teachers. A descriptive research approach was followed. The sample was (52), including (28) schools and (24) teachers. Measures were adopted as a tool for collecting data, to identify the role of educational
songs and educational stories in improving English language learning skills (listening and speaking). It has been verified in more than one way for validity and reliability. The researcher also adopted the statistical package (SPSS) to implement the laws and obtained the following results: - English language teachers support the role of songs and stories. In improving the skills of first-year intermediate learners in learning English language skills (listening and speaking).
