The relationship of self-compassion to emotional regulation among university students

The current researcher aims to identify the correlative relationship between self-compassion and emotional regulation among university students. The research sought to identify:
1-Compassion in particular for university student.
2-Emotional regulation among university students.
3-The correlational relationship between compassion in particular and
emotional regulation among university students
4-The difference in the relationship between self-compassion and emotional regulation among university students according to gender and specialization variables.
The research is determined for students of the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University, morning studies for both genders (male - female) and for both majors (scientific - human) for the academic year (2020-2021). The researcher built two tools to achieve the objectives of the research, the first to know self-compassion and the second to know the emotional organization of university students, and after applying it to a sample and conducting the statistical means, the research reached the following results:
1- The existence of self-compassion among university students .
2-The existence of social organization among university students.
3-The existence of a correlation between self-compassion and emotional
regulation among university students.
4-The results found that there are differences between gentleness and
emotional organization between the sexes and in favor of females, as
well as the existence of differences between specialization and in favor
of human specialization.
