The Degree of Practice of Distributive leadership by Heads of scientific departments and its relationship to the level of organizational health from the point of view of faculty Members at Wasit University

The study aimed to identify the degree of practice of heads of scientific departments of distributive leadership and the level of organizational health from the point of view of faculty members at the University of Wasit, as well as to reveal the nature of the correlation between the degree of practice of heads of scientific departments of distributive leadership and the level of organizational health. The researcher built the two study tools, extracted the indications of validity and reliability, and conducted a statistical analysis of the items of the two tools. The results were verified and their data were statistically processed. The results showed that the degree of practice of distributive leadership by the heads of scientific departments from the point of view of faculty members came in a medium degree. High organizational health among the heads of scientific departments, the existence of a significant relationship, and the direction of the relationship between the two variables is direct (positive). As the degree of distributive leadership practice increases, followed by an increase in the levels of organizational health among the heads of scientific departments. Through the results of the study, the researcher came out with a set of recommendations and proposals.
