Abstract

Climatic factors play a clear and fundamental role in the cultivation and production of agricultural crops of all types and types. The climate is determined by thermal limits and the amount of rainfall, primarily the type of agricultural crop within any region or region, and any change or fluctuation in climate elements is clearly reflected in its cultivation and production. Agricultural crops, and what can be observed about the Earth’s climate by following climate studies and forecasts is the trend towards warming due to the increase in the emission of greenhouse gases into the Earth’s atmosphere. Therefore, the study focused on applying a mathematical model that simulates climatic conditions with soil characteristics and agricultural operations management. The study was applied to Kirkuk Governorate and identified the sunflower crop as a cash crop with economic value, as it is noted that the crop has taken a decline in its cultivation as a result of many reasons, including those related to natural conditions, including: Regarding economic conditions, it became clear through the results of the study that was applied over three years that there is a decline in agricultural production due to changing climatic conditions.
