China's position on Vietnam's policy towards Indochina for the period from (1978 – 1975)

The research aims to shed light on the period during which the Sino-Vietnamese relations experienced a serious turn. The ambitions of Vietnam to establish the Indochina Union had a significant impact on the occurrence of that turning point, as the events that occurred on the political scene in Indochina after 1975, which resulted in a complete withdrawal of the United States The US, and the Communist parties’ control of power, brought these changes in Indochina into the tensions between Vietnam, which feels the euphoria of its power and aspiring to establish the Indochina Union, and China, which aspires to restore the glories of the Middle Kingdom. It succeeded in applying it to Cambodia, a strategic ally of China, which forced it to invade Cambodia, despite the constant warning from China. Chinese Vietnamese
