This research aims to study landforms and evaluate them based on scholars' perspectives throughout history within the framework of geographical thought. The study examines the concept of landforms and their geographical significance, focusing on the development of theories related to them from ancient times to th
e modern era. It explores contributions from Greek and medieval Islamic scholars, along with recent advancements in geomorphology and plate tectonics theory. Additionally, the research discusses scientific methodologies used in landform studies, such as descriptive, analytical, and quantitative approaches, emphasizing modern technologies like remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The study concludes with a comprehensive evaluation of scholars' views, highlighting how modern scientific discoveries have influenced the understanding of geomorphological processes, and provides recommendations for future studies in this field.
