تهدف هذه الدراسة الى اجراء تحليل للخيارات الوضيفية للتقارير الصحفية لاثنتين من الصحف وهما يتعلق بصراع اليمن . فيما Asharq Al-Awsat وصحيفة Tehran Times بالتحديد صحيفة ان التحليل النقدي للخطاب في التقاريرالصحفية التي تتناول حرب اليمن في الفترة من اذار 2015 لغاية كانون الاول 2016 هوما تقوم به هده الدراسة بصورة رئيسية. تهدف الدراسة الى استكشاف فيما اذا كان هناك انحياز واضح في تقارير الصحيفتين ام لا؟ تبنت الدراسة التحليل الكمي و النوعي الذي يعتمد على لعام (2000). Ideological Square انموذج العالم فان دايك
اضهر التحليل بان تقارير كلتا الصحيفتين هي غير خالية من الانحياز. لقد نظمت كلتا الصحيفتين تقاريرهما بطريقة تكون فيها المجموعة الخارجية والمجموعة الداخلية مستتقطبة .
