Abstract

Badr shaker al seeab in collaboration with Iraqi contemporary poests such as javaheri wahab beiati , rousafi and zahawi played a very effective role in awakening the Iraqis against the imperialism , dominant then over the country . he showed much concern about iraq . and its future and his poetry overflows with his love for his own country : there fore his country and its people .

seeab’s patriotism is tinged with his love for his homeland , homesickness due to his being away foom his small village called (جيكور) , foom a small river (بويب) and eventually iraq and larger homeland the arab world an – arab personage .
