The aims of research is doing The comparative study to know the effect of the K.W.L. and M.L.T strategy in the critical thinking and the ability to the problem solving of the students .
The sample consists of ( 48 ) students from the electrical technical department in the technical institute in Nassiriayah in southern technical university that divided to the two experimental equivalent groups .
The critical thinking test and the ability to the problem solving test were building by using the known methods .
At the first we doing the pre – applied of the critical thinking test and the ability to the problem solving test to the all sample . And we beginning the teaching operation to the two groups .The first experimental group used K.W.L strategy and the second experimental group used the M.L.T strategy .
After that we doing the post – applied of the critical thinking test and the ability to the problem solving test to the all sample too and analysis there finding
The research results are supremacy the students in the first experimental group in the critical thinking and the ability to the problem solving than the students in the second experimental group .
That is means the K.W.L. and the M.L.T strategies is effective to the growth the critical thinking and the ability to the problem solving. Because that we recommend by using them and suggest some another similar researches
