Emotional Intelligence and its Relation to the Ability to Solve Problem among Students of Teaching Thinking Course at Hebron University from their Perspectives

Abstract

      This study aimed at identifying the relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to solve problems among students of  teaching thinking course  at Hebron university  from their perspectives .The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method. The study community consisted of all students at the course ,who  are 64 students. The study conducted during at the first semester of the academic year (2019/2020) ,and the questionnaire was used to collect the data .

The study showed the following results:

  • The level of emotional intelligence among students from their point of view came very high.
  • The level of solving problems ability among students from their perspectives came very high.
  • There is a positive correlational relationship between all degrees of respondents' assessment level of emotional intelligence and the degrees of their ability to solve problems.

    In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is:

  • Conducting training courses for university students to develop their emotional intelligence skills so that they will be able to solve problems effectively.
