Abstract

The food industries sector in Al-Khalis District is a vital pillar of the Iraqi economy, representing one of the main branches of the manufacturing industry that directly contributes to raising local production rates and boosting national income. Its importance lies in its role as a strategic axis through which developing countries seek to achieve sustainable economic development and increase growth rates. Despite the importance of this sector, it faces several challenges, including weak infrastructure and energy, limited health oversight, and a lack of funding and modern technologies.
