تهتم الدراسة بمعرفة أصل السلالة البشرية التي تنتمي إليها امرأة إنسان تبة غانج داره، إذ سوف نقوم بدراسة حامض الـ DNA الخاص بالحمض النووي لتلك العينة من أجل التوصل إلى بيانات مهمة لمعرفة السلالة التي سكنت ذلك الموقع، فضلاً عن بعض التحليلات الأخرى كالتحليل عن طريق حمض الميتوكندريا المرتبط بالمرأة بشكل خاص من اجل معرفة أصل نسب تلك العينة، فضلاً عن جينات الهابلوغروب من أجل تحديد نسل تلك المراة والي أي سلالة تنتمي.
