Pioneering performance of heads of scientific departments in Faculties of Education in light of the European model of excellence EFQM

The current research aimed to identify the leadership performance of heads of scientific departments in colleges of education in light of the European model of excellence EFQM from faculty members. And explore the European model of excellence on the other hand.
The descriptive analytical method was used, and the research community identified the faculty members and both sexes in the colleges of education of the University of Baghdad. The study sample reached (270) individuals, representing (20%) of the total community.
To achieve the results of the research, a tool (questionnaire) was prepared that included four areas (leadership - policies and strategies - administrative operations - service provided to the community) and each field included (8) paragraphs, as the tool ruled from a number of specialists to ensure its sincerity.
Statistical processing:
After the field application of the research tool, the data and data were blanked and statistically analyzed with the adoption of manual discharging of open responses. SPSS was used using the iterations, averages and standard deviations program to analyze the results.

The level of entrepreneurial performance was average for the heads of the scientific departments in the Faculties of Education of the University of Baghdad. As an arithmetic average (3.323) and a relative weight (67.765) with an average grade of appreciation by faculty members towards the pioneering performance of heads of scientific departments in the colleges of education of the University of Baghdad (College of Education for Girls, Ibn Rushd for Humanities, Ibn Al-Haytham for Pure Sciences) in light of the model European Excellence. It is clear that all areas of the questionnaire are close in terms of their mean and relative weights.
