The spatial variation of divorce cases in Maysan Governorate for the period from (2014-2019)

Abstract

     The research aims to reveal the spatial variation of divorce cases in Maysan Governorate for the period (2014-2020) The research was based on population estimates, as well as records of personal status courts and field studies for the purpose of reaching an explanation of the demographic phenomenon (divorce). The search resulted in a number of conclusions, including Knowing the changes in the volume of registered divorce cases, which are (1558) divorce cases, and a crude rate of (1.30) for the year (2019), and their variation at the level of administrative units and identifying the factors that led to the increase in divorce cases and on the environmental level (urban and rural).
