Economic and social characteristics of the people with skin diseases in the Najaf governorate

Abstract

      The socio-economic characteristics have a great impact on the incidence of skin diseases, and studying them helps to form an image of the geographical pattern of the disease by studying these factors for patients with skin diseases in the province of Najaf. This research is concerned with studying economic and social factors (i.e. according to type of housing, family size, etc) The study of economic factors has a great and effective impact on the understanding and awareness of many social phenomena, due to the effect of this aspect on the behavior of individuals, their customs, values, traditions, awareness, awareness of their environment and the environment in which they live. Thus, the researcher helps to know the class regression of the population, which in turn helps to know the extent of the impact of this aspect in determining the risk of these diseases, as these characteristics form part of the epidemiological pattern of diseases and their distribution
