Abstract

The present paper aims at finding out the degree of the narcissistic personality for university students in which the population is represented by the university students at morning studies during the academic year (2022-2021) who are averaged (16485) , i.,e., (9805) male and female students from the scientific departments and (6680) from the human sciences depatments . So, the research sample is (400) students from the university of wasit . After reviewing the literature previous related studies to these topics the researcher adopted ( AL-Aasimy 2013) a scale for measuring the narcissistic personality which consists of 40 items . The psychometric principles ; validity and reliability . The reliability has been secured by choosing a sample of 40 students using test - retest and Alph Cronpach formula .The data have been analysed using SPSS . The results showed that university students at wasit university characterized by anarcissistic personality . Due to the results obtained the researcher has concluded some conclusions and recommendations and suggestions
