يهدف البحث الحالي الى قياس مستوى نضوب الأنا لدى طلبة جامعة الموصل، والتعرف على الفروق في مستوى نضوب الأنا وفقاً لمتغير النوع (ذكور، إناث) والتخصص(علمي، إنساني). تكون مجتمع البحث من(44028) طالباً وطالبةً من جميع كليات جامعة الموصل (الصباحية) والبالغة (24) كلية، وتألفت عينة البحث الأساسية من (810) طالباً وطالبةً اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قامت الباحثة بتطبيق مقياس نضوب الأنا الذي أعدته في أطروحة الدكتوراه الموسومة (أثر برنامج تربوي وفقاً لنظرية (BAUMEISTER) في تعديل نضوب الأنا لدى طلبة جامعة الموصل) سنة (2021/2022) والذي يتكون من (67) فقرة موزعة على أربعة أبعاد (النضوب الفسيولوجي – النضوب الاجتماعي– النضوب النفسي الانفعالي – النضوب المعرفي ) ذات ثلاث بدائل (دائماً – أحياناً – أبداً )، وقد تم استخراج أنواع من الصدق منها( الصدق الظاهري، الصدق المنطقي، وصدق البناء، الصدق العاملي) وتم استخراج القوة التمييزية للمقياس وكذلك تم استخراج الثبات بطرق متعددة للمقياس منها ( الاتساق الداخلي والخارجي، إعادة الاختبار، معامل ألفا a). وتمت معالجة بيانات البحث بالوسائل الإحصائية التي تتلائم مع طبيعة وأهداف البحث عن طريق الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS).
