The noise pollution emitted by the Al-Zubaidiya thermal power plant and its effect on the workers there

Abstract

This study examined the assessment of the level of noise pollution resulting from the Zubaidiya Thermal Power Station and its impact on the health of its workers and residents near the station, as several measurements were taken inside and outside the station and in several locations, as the measurement results showed that the noise level was high at the measurement sites inside the station and near Of the station engines that produce loud sounds, and these sounds exceeded the work standard and the permissible industrial standard and in several locations inside the station, either outside the station, the measurement results were within the permissible standards and did not exceed them.
