The aim of this research is to present the views of orientalists in the dialects of the Arab world. Their interest in the 19th century focused on the study of ancient and modern Arabic dialects, using the ancient grammar books and their explanations of linguistic phenomena. Their studies included different linguistic levels. The grammatical aspect of ancient Arabic dialects in the Orientalist studies translated in Arabic, such as Rabin, Prachtstraiser, Henri Fleisch, Wagon Cantino, Ano Litman and others.
This research comes within two topics. The first deals with grammatical issues in nouns, and the second deals with grammatical issues in verbs.
The research reveals the most important orientalists' studies on the difference between the ancient Arabic dialects in the use of grammatical structures and the corresponding opinions of the Arabic linguists.
