Abstract

Summary

The Quranic text has features that makes it unique of any other texts like poetry or prose of all kinds. We do not read a text without finding weakness in its construction or a defect within it. Although the Quranic text is old, the scholars are still looking deep in it to discover the science and facts it contains that keep pace with generations throughout the ages.

Majma' Al-Bayan by Tabarsi with its many parts represents a stage in the interpretation that the students turned to it. He took up the holy texts as a skilled master of his instruments that dives deep to uncover the facts, and his method of the interpretation of the Quranic verses has drawn my attention since he begins the text by referring to its order and stating it’s the reason of its use in its place to make the reader notice the secrets of its order seeing the rhetorical reasons behind that. He truly was a scholar in stating the contents of the sequence among the Quranic verses. He dealt with that sequence and order by linking the texts with each other. A subsequent text may put in details what was outlined in a previous text, or a text may be precise and another text overgeneralize it, or two texts link with each other in a Peer - to - peer linkage.
