Structure in the Morphological Matters: A Study in Deviating Scope of the Field Knowledge

Abstract

Our research deals with one of the big debated matters which has signified us with speculation and inspection for the aspects that Morphologists have searched and resolved the matters that Morphology works with and what differentiate it from the other linguistic fields of Arabic such as Grammar. It’s the matter of the Phenomenon of Structure in Morphology Studies.  Morphologists agree that Morphology studies the matters which are described by elements not by structures while in other positions, they have dealt with structural phenomenon on the level of monosyllabic words or disyllabic words like (baelabakبعلبك  and ghulam Zeid غلام زيد) and other words which our study has observed and pointed them out with the help of the seminal Morphological resources  and we have brought the attention to some of its phenomena:

1. Extension
2. Diminution
3. Dualism and Plural
4. Assimilation
5. Some Morphological Positions of the Verb.
