he Influence of the Models of the Ancient Civilizations’ Buildings on the Buildings of the Achaemenid Capitals

Abstract

      The purpose of this research is to shed light upon the most significant architectural influences that occurred on the capitals of the Achaemenid (Susa, Ecbatana, Pasargadae, Persepolis) and these influences came from various ancient civilizations, especially the ancient Near East civilizations, Mesopotamia, Egypt, in addition to Greece.
