The Relationship Between Self-Awareness and Psychological Security Among Middle School Students

This study aims to explore the relationship between self-awareness and psychological security among middle school students. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopted a descriptive correlational approach, with a sample consisting of 200 male and female students from middle schools in Wassit Governorate. The study utilized a self-awareness scale (developed by the researcher), comprising 21 items covering various dimensions, alongside a psychological security scale consisting of 25 items. The results revealed a positive correlation between self-awareness and psychological security among students. Additionally, the findings indicated statistically significant differences in self-awareness in favor of female students, whereas no significant differences were observed in psychological security between males and females.
