Science and learning are among the fundamentals of the religion of Islam. Islam views science not only as the basis for believing, but also as a mean of development and progression of humanity, pereservation of life, and perpetuity of earth as the Holy Quran first revelation was "Read". Recently, many students have developed reluctance to learning at various stages of the school. The inhibited desire for learning is commonly associated with disdain to the schooling system, the methods of education, and in some cases discourtesy towards teachers. The current study sheds lights on the many reasons behind students' reluctance to read and learn, and presents potential solution that may help circumvent this problem.
