Abstract

This subject deals with study of (comparison of similarity in book of  Sebwayeh),it is a kind of comparison that used by grammarians ,it is based on similarity between comparator and comparative. The research deals with this phenomenon with axes are:            

The linguistic definition for two concepts (comparison and similarity) and focus on conventional concept for comparison of similarity then recognition forms of similarity comparison and its kinds in book of Sebwayh and its function in this book0At  the end of research ,the most important results are:     

The comparison of similarity was a guide for Sebwayeh  to support his linguistic views. It is  based on a basic idea which is comparator is from branch not from branch of comparative and this led to so-called strange problems . It has some kind of analysis but differs from comparison of problem and similarity between comparator and comparative is incomplete ,this is what Sebwayeh  referred to in more than one place of his book.
