Abstract

     The study of cultural constituent in liwa' aleamara presented by printing, press and libraries till 1958 needs to know the situations of Iraq in the era of Ottoman Empire which is considered as a backward country although it was discovered the printing recently. Thereupon, the Iraq acknowledgment with printing and press is considered late due to the backwardness of the Ottoman Empire. After that the printing houses were spread to all Iraqi cities gradually and the first printing house was appeared in Karbala in 1956 and another one in Baghdad in 1961. Alwelaia printing house appeared in 1969 in the era of Midhat Basha. Thus, the Iraqi people know this field in the period between the two world wars.
