Abstract

The aim of the present research is to know the impact Showdown Strategy (uncover your papers) in the achievement of students in the fifth grade in the science .

 

   In order to verify the research objective, the researcher built the achievement test. The researcher built the achievement test which consists of (40) items of multiple choice type. The researcher has verified his validity through presenting it to the experts and arbitrators and then the researcher applied the test to the sample of statistical analysis, which reached (113) pupils; a The martyr Wadih Elementary Boys); followers to the Directorate of Education in Wasit province in order to extract the coefficient of difficulty and discriminatory power; and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives; and the stability of the achievement test, the researcher used the method of Coder Richard Son (20); based on the same statistical analysis sample where it reached Stability (68, 0 ).

 

In the light of the results of the study, the researcher concluded that relying on the strategy of confrontation (reveal your papers); in the teaching of science .
