Abstract

The research aims to determine the geographical and environmental dimensions of the Corona-Covid 19 virus, through a geographical approach that addresses the spatial and temporal analysis of the epidemic, the resulting effects as well as the expected future post-epidemic scenarios, in order to monitor the general trend of the spread of the virus and define its main focuses, as well as track its temporal path And the directions of the expansion of this epidemic and its decline The research dealt with the spatial distribution of the spatial spread of the epidemic in the world in general and Iraq in particular, with a reference to the regional neighboring countries, since Iraq is associated with commercial, tourism, religious and scientific relations, as this could be Events cause the transfer of the virus if we learned quickly move through infection and contact.

Therefore, it was found through research that the largest areas of HIV prevalence in the world recorded infections are countries (America and Germany). As for deaths, they were recorded highest in America and Spain. As for the Middle East countries, Iran has recorded the highest rate of infections and deaths. On the level of Iraq, the capital has surpassed the capital. Baghdad over all provinces in the number of injuries and deaths, and in the temporal dimension it became clear that there is no fixed trend in a particular place for the spread or decline of the virus, the epidemic is mobile and variable, and cases of infection, recovery and death numbers are not fixed.

It was clear from the research that the epidemic has not only its effects on the health side, but also has environmental, social, economic and political effects on the population and the global, regional and local community, and that these effects lead to a logical expectation of repercussions in the near future, as the research predicted scenarios of future change at the levels (environmental and social) Economic and political.
