Abstract

This study deals with the study of some texts of the Old Testament (the Torah), which explicitly ordered murder and genocide, as it constituted a large part of the culture of violence in the biblical heritage and the continuation of that heritage in the influence and the transition to later periods of history through its oral and codified contents to the Arab environment through the presence And many Jewish literature and beliefs have penetrated into the books of Arab Muslims under the so-called "Israelites". The study consists of two sections. The first presents models of Old Testament texts that include murder and extermination in an attempt to investigate the historical causes behind the Jewish mindset that produced such texts. The second highlights how these texts were transmitted to the books and interpretations of Muslim Arabs.\
