Religious tolerance in the concept of Islamic leadership (Salah al-Din model)
Abstract
The importance of religious tolerance is that it is an existential dimension, that is, the necessity of existence itself, and pluralism is a universal year, and it is a human instinct. People of their instincts differ in their visions, perceptions and beliefs. Islam has never recognized this principle and declared it necessary to respect it. The Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi was a model of this tolerance, he made extraordinary efforts to maintain the united Islamic Front by conciliation with the Crusaders and contact them and hold a round-table negotiation And the establishment of different diplomatic relations with them, whether those who settled in the Shami country or with those who came with the Third Crusade, especially with Richard the Lionheart while in the Levant.
