Content analysis of the Islamic textbooks to the Intermediate Grade in the light of Social peace

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the content of Islamic Education book for the first Intermediate class according to the social Peace by answering the following questions:

Q1/What is the range of involving the Islamic Education books in social peace?                                                                            

Q2/Is there a statistic significance differences between the repetition of including the social peace principles in the level of (0,05) according to the Islamic Education books for the Intermediate study?                             

In order to achieve the research questions, the researcher has made some theoretical procedures represented by displaying the background of the research about the research variables and practical procedures represented below:                                      

a-There is an inclusion for a very specific items, and the level of general inclusion was very weak and never ascends to the class level and the need of Iraqi society of the social peace principles. The range of the general repetition for the three books of the intermediate class were only 46 repetition, for a very specific items, and some of them were implicitness and not clear. It was clear, there was no rate of sufficiency in the content of these textbooks.                                                                                      

b-There were no statistic significant differences in the level of (0.05) according to the textbooks of the intermediate study.       

Regarding to these results, we reached many recommendations:

-Reconsider the content of Islamic Education textbooks in the intermediate study according to the accelerated social variables that require acquiring the learner and recognition to the social peace principles. In order to continue of the scientific research, the researcher suggests to make studies such as: completing the studies of Islamic Education textbooks for high school classes.
