Representations of the “I” in the poetry of Jamal Soraya and Nizar Qabbani(comparative cultural study)

Abstract

Studies of the ego have formed an important area in cultural studies, especially in studies of the other, and have attempted to draw the starting points of the ego that determine its behavior and the pattern of its interaction with everything that surrounds it. Since the ego is the space that includes all colors of the spectrum represented by customs, traditions, environment, and its ideology, we tried in this research to monitor the nature of The presence of the ego in three sections, concerned with the position that the ego occupies, and the nature of the presence of the male ego, in addition to monitoring the levels of the ego’s feeling of loss and its submission to feelings of loss, as well as the extent of the ego’s breadth of expression in the language of we, that is, That is, monitoring the extent to which the self (I) expresses the language of the group, adopting a cultural comparative approach that stems from the determinants of the American comparative approach, which goes beyond the issue of influence and impact adopted by the French school.
