The Impact of School Theater Activities on the Acquisition of Theater Culture Principles Among Middle School Students

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of studying theatrical activity in collectively acquiring principles of culture with progressive progress. This research contributes to achieving its goal of educating students about concepts, their cultural and artistic monopoly, and their orientation toward theater. The original set of research tools for analysis included the following research tools: questionnaire and direct observation. The research community consisted of students in public schools in the Baghdad District - First Rusafa Classical Education (2024–2025). A deliberate design was chosen, consisting of 120 confirmed students.

Since the students participating in theatrical activity have a sufficient level of knowledge about the concepts, and they are present and contribute to their cultural and artistic behavior, the researchers were also interested in high activity. It also indicated no statistically significant differences between females, confirming the high level of self-satisfaction and creative expression among the participating students. Thanking the results, the researchers recommended promoting active activity in schools, increasing the number of scholars, and integrating culture into the educational curriculum.
