هدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن التفكير الشمولي في الممارسات البيئية المستدامة لدى طلبة الجامعات في العراق، وتحديد الفروق بين الذكور والإناث في هذا المتغير ، استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، الذي يهتم بوصف الظواهر كما هي، وتحليلها من أجل الوصول إلى تفسير لها ،بلغت عينة البحث (200) طالبا وطالبة، تم اختيارهم بالأسلوب المتساوي العشوائي من طلبة الكليات في الجامعة المستنصرية وجامعة بغداد ، وقامت الباحثة ببناء اختبار التفكير الشمولي في الممارسات البيئية المستدامة لدى طلبة الجامعة، وتم التحقق من صدقه الظاهري، وصدق البناء، والثبات باستعمال الاتساق الداخلي (ألفا كرونباخ) ،خلصت نتائج البحث إلى ما يلي:
وجود التفكير الشمولي في الممارسات البيئية المستدامة لدى طلبة الجامعات في العراق
وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث في التفكير الشمولي في الممارسات البيئية المستدامة لدى طلبة الجامعات في العراق ولصالح الاناث .
من الممكن تفسير نتائج البحث بما يلي:
توصي الباحثة بإجراء المزيد من الدراسات حول التفكير الشمولي في الممارسات البيئية المستدامة لدى طلبة الجامعات في العراق ، وذلك باستخدام أساليب بحثية متنوعة
