Abstract

The research aims to study the impact of business intelligence with its components in achieving development in order to identify the elements of business intelligence that have the most impact in the areas of sustainable development for departments and people in the Ministry of Science and Technology, being an organization working on the use of information technology, which is the most influential in the application of business intelligence.The researchers relied on the descriptive and analytical approach to identify the research problem and prove its hypotheses through the theoretical linking of its variables, after which it is tested with a set of statistical means and to ensure its objectivity through an analytical survey of a number of managers in the Ministry of Science and Technology to ensure the availability of business intelligence and sustainable development practices in it. The results showed the validity of all hypotheses at the experimental level, and since there are no statistically significant differences between them according to the (One way ANOVA) test, and accordingly a set of results was formed, the most important of which is that the business intelligence carried out by the Ministry administration is related to the promotion of sustainable development and is based on the results . We recommend introducing business intelligence practices and enhancing their programs in the Ministry of Information Technology and taking advantage of technology programs to reduce risks, enhance the position of the Ministry and increase profitability, and thus the research concludes with a set of general proposals to for future studies.
