About the Journal

The Journal of the College of Education  (JCE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the College of Education for Human Sciences, Wasit University, Iraq. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, and professionals to publish high-quality original research, theoretical studies, and critical reviews in the fields of education, humanities, social sciences, psychology, linguistics, history, geography, philosophy, and related disciplines.

Focus and Scope

The journal welcomes scholarly contributions in Arabic and English that address contemporary issues and advancements in education and the human sciences. Its aim is to promote academic dialogue and contribute to scientific development locally and globally.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published quarterly, issuing four volumes per year (February, May, August, and November).

The journal follows a full open-access policy, allowing free and immediate access to all published content. Authors retain copyright and agree to publish under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits unrestricted distribution and reuse, provided proper attribution is given.

Established in [2007], the Journal of the College of Education  (JCE) has grown to become a respected academic outlet for scholarly research in Iraq and the Arab region, with a mission to advance knowledge in educational and human sciences.

Archiving and Indexing

To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility, the journal participates in LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival systems. All articles are stored in multiple institutional and digital repositories (crossref, google scholar, Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals).
